In 2015, the Macomb County Health Department began the process of conducting our Community Health Assessment and published a Community Health Improvement Plan in 2017. In 2020, the Macomb County Health Department initiated a second Community Health Assessment, and resumed assessment activities in the summer of 2022. Macomb County Health Department and its partners on the Healthy Macomb Advisory Committee (HMAC) are working to compile data, recommendations, and strategies from the 2022 Community Health Assessment (CHA). The HMAC has published the 2022 Community Survey Report, and if there are questions or feedback for the 2022 Community Survey Report, please email our Healthy Communities program. Our team will write a new Community Health Improvement Plan to capture the changing needs and concerns of the community. These endeavors are made possible through continued partnership and collaboration with our community partners.
